Request a Student ID Card Online

Student ID Cards are proof that you are a College of the Rockies student. To maintain Covid-19 physical distancing protocol, the Library will mail new cards to both new and returning students upon request. New international students must reside in Canada to receive a Student ID Card.

Please note that processing time may take between 1-2 business days (you may experience delays during start of semester). ID cards are mailed via Canada Post and may take up to two weeks for delivery.

To request a Student ID card using the online method, fill out the form below. Please note that you must login with your College Network Account to use this form - you may also need to clear your cache/ cookies (or use a private/ incognito window).

Alternatively, you may also email ID Cards with your:

  • Current Address
  • Phone Number
  • Name of the program you are enrolled in and indicate how the program is being delivered: face-to-face, online, or directed studies.

**Headgear is not permitted unless for medical or religious purposes.

You must be registered for courses prior to submitting your picture.

Your picture must:

  • Have your face clearly visible and looking directly at the camera - NO profile or glamour shots
  • Be in colour

Lost/stolen cards can be reprinted for a $3.50 fee.

To borrow and renew library materials (even from the comfort of your own home!) or to get student discounts please request a Student ID card.

Your student ID card confirms that you are a College of the Rockies student. You will use it for all kinds of essential everyday campus activities, from using the library and printing/photocopying documents via PaperCut, riding the Cranbrook Transit bus, access the College’s gymnasium, and writing exams. For these reasons, please carry your student ID card with you at all times.

If you have lost or damaged your Student ID card you will need to purchase a replacement at $3.50.  Eligible, full time students will have a U-Pass applied to their Student ID card. Follow this link for borrowing services.

Note:  You do not need a Student ID card to access your college webmail or the library's online journal articles.
